Tropicana Speech is a program offered to 4th through 6th graders. The kids need to give a 2-3 minute speech on any topic. Walker was offered the speech as extra credit and was 1 of only 2 students in his class to participate. He wrote his speech on disagreeing with falsifying your age to get a Facebook account before you are 13. He did a great job and won 3rd place for Eustis Middle School.Garrett did not have a choice and it was an assignment that everyone in his class had to complete. Garrett wrote his speech on sea turtles. He was one of the top 3 for his class and moved to compete at the school level. Garrett did a fantastic job but did not place. Garrett is very proud of himself and so are we.
