Walker joined the Umatilla Golf team this year. He has only been playing for about 8 months and truelly enjoys the sport. He thought joining the team would be fun and would be a great way to get more practice. In theory everyone gets to play in a match but only the top 4 scores count for the team. Well we are lucky if we have 4 players to compete in a match so Walker has been playing in the Number 2 spot. Unfortunately, he is not quite ready to be a #2 golfer and has had his struggles. He has a great attitude and is keeping it in perspective. He is new to the sport and has confidence that if he continues to work hard and practice he will soon play like a #2 golfer.
