New Year, New Schools

The first day of school always has a few nerves but the Ford house had a few more as we started new schools too.  Everyone was up and ready to go.  Daddy made homemade pancakes and waffles to send them off.  They all came home with smiles, 

it went well but they were glad it was over.

Happy Birthday Garrett

Garrett spent is birthday just the way he wanted to.  It started with M&M pancakes in bed followed by a few friends and tubing.  We tubed "Lake County style" being pulled around the lake by a Bass Tracker.  It worked and they all had a great time and that is all that matters.  Waterballon fights and grilled burgers made this 12 year old very happy.  It was a fun day.  On Sunday we had a spaghetti dinner (complete with whoppie pie cake) with Grandma Sue, Papa Terry and Grammy after some more tubing of course ;)
