Softball

Here are a few picture from Laine's softball game. She is really having fun. She can hit the ball and throw well, it's the catching we have to work on.

Every little girl must have gone to Target because they all have the same bat bag, glove, bat and helmet, all pink of course. Laine however has no problem finding her "stuff". She has Garrett's bat bag which matches her red cleats, Walker's glove and she is borrowing Kylie's helmet with Garrett's mask. She is OK with it all because according to Laine "if you add a little white with red you get pink so it's all good" That's my girl :)

Big Girl Hair

Laine decided while Grandma was here to get a big girl hair cut. Daddy was unsure but now he loves it and Laine does too. She looks really cute.

Walker had to grow his out to be Danny so he was very thankful his Grandma could cut his too as soon as the Sunday show was over :)

Opening Day Baseball/Softball Season 2010

Last weekend was opening day for the 2010 Baseball/Softball Season. The kids both had their first games and did great. Laine's team is actually an all girl T-ball team that will play the other boy teams. (there was not enough girls to make a T-ball softball league) The girls are pink, of course and the Angels. The girls did as good if not better than the boys. Laine had 3 great hits and was the only one on both teams to catch a ball (Looky what I found ??) Walker is on the Rangers and played 2nd base but they had to end the game early due to an injury. Everyone is OK and on with the season .... Play Ball !!

GREASE

Walker and Laine performed in Grease this past weekend and it surpassed our wildest expectations. Walker was Danny on Friday and Sunday and did a fantastic job. He stayed in character the whole show and just exuded cool. He had a great time and is sad it is all over.

Laine surprised us all. She got a little more brave with each show and by the 3rd and 4th show was in the front row. So glad, all that sassiness was finally put to good use. She did great!

Gettin' Ready for Grease

The Warren Acting Company Kids were invited to perform at Chick-fil-A last night to advertise their show, Grease, next weekend. They sang a few choice songs and everyone had a great time. The actors were served nuggets and ice cream at intermission before they sang them all again for the new crowd coming in for dinner. This was Laine's first performance and by the second run through she was in the front row and "hamming" it up. I can't wait for all 4 performances next weekend. Good Luck WACo!!!

Bright Kids

This is a bit late but here are a couple pictures of Walker receiving his all A's award at middle school. Yes, he invited me and I was allowed to take pictures, just not too many. It was so nice to see so many kids be rewarded for all their hard work.

Garrett and Laine had awesome report cards too. Not a B in the bunch. We are so blessed and they all like school too :)
