Garrett in Action

It is so much fun to watch Garrett play soccer, at this level.  He has earned a starting spot on Defense and plays the entire game.  He has incredible stamina to be able to play so hard, for so long, in this heat.  The kids are still so much bigger than my 85 pound G, not sure what those Mamas are feeding those boys.

Breakfast with Grandma and Papa

Last weekend, for one of the only times this season, both kids had home games.  There was some time in between games, so we were treated to breakfast.  I think the pancakes were bigger than their heads.

Laine's 1st Soccer Game

It was soooo HOT !!!!
Laine and all the girls did fantastic in their first soccer game.  It was clear on the other side of Orlando and the drive actually took longer than the game.  We lost but this was all of our girls first game on a big field and we played a U10 team.  Half of our girls are 7 and the other half are 8 so the U10's seemed HUGE.  Laine is #1 and can't wait for her first home game this Saturday.

Finally....Gymnastics

Finally after many Mommy promises and little girl pleads, Laine is taking gymnastic classes.  We went last week for a "trial" class to make sure she liked it and she LOVED it.  So yesterday was her first real class and she got to try out the balance beam.  The parents can only watch from an upstairs viewing window which does not allow for the best pictures but it gives you the idea.

So currently Garrett is playing soccer and running for UMS cross country, Walker is taking golf and voice lessons, Laine is taking piano lessons, gymnastics and playing soccer.  Both boys are also trying to become more involved in our church youth group.  So yes this fall is full of new adventures for the Ford kids and so far so good.   I have photo documented most everything except for Garrett's cross county, which I will get photos from his first meet, and Walker's voice lesson.  The Mom Taxi is in full force and lets hope the "grocery getter" stays running :)  It won't stay this crazy for long and it warms my heart to know they were able to participate in everything they wanted to try.

Walker's Golf Lesson

Walker had his first golf lesson yesterday.
He enjoyed it but said "there is so much to remember."
With practice I am sure he'll be playing with his Dad and Papa in no
time, as along as he doesn't beat them ;)
