Daddy Daughter Dance

Laine's Dance Company hosted a "Daddy Daughter Dance" for Valentine's Day. It was very sweet but Laine did not quite understand. She did not know about her Daddy getting up on stage to dance?? I had to explain to her that it was like Cinderella going to the ball except she was the princess and Daddy was her prince. Once she understood, she was very excited.

Daddy rang the door bell and presented his princess with a beautiful corsage and off they went to pick Lyle and his princess, Kylie.

At the dance Laine met a few of her girlfriends and wanted nothing to do with her Daddy during the fast dances but would come back around when a slow song came on. They had a memorable evening.

Valentine's Day

I volunteered at Laine's Valentine party. Here are a few pictures of her and her friends. She got lots of goodies and had a great day.

Laine also got some Valentine money from her Grandma's. She spent it already on.... you guessed it shoes !! I think I am creating a little monster but at least I am teaching her to look for the little red stickers. She now brings something to show me and says "aren't they beautiful Momma, Are they on sale??" Good girl ;)

Budweiser Shoot Out

Coy and Lyle, sort of spur of the moment, decided to take the boys to the Budweiser Shoot Out at Daytona Speedway. These are the pictures I received throughout the evening , taken from Coy's phone. I believe the one with the beer can was to show the Miller Light Car. My response to Coy for the pictures was "where are pictures of my boys enjoying the red neck night out with their Big Daddy?? They had a great time and hope to make it an annual event.

Super Bowl

We enjoyed the Super Bowl at our friends home, The Gilmets. They are from Indy and are are big Colts Fans.

Walker really wanted to go to the party wearing a Saints jersey. Well, we weren't on the ball enough and the few that were in the Orlando area were sold out. So we improvised and Daddy made the kids Saints shirts for the day. Daddy and I just couldn't do it and went to watch the game in our Bronco gear. It was a fun game to watch and I guess the homemade shirt were a good luck charm ;)

Ruger's First Birthday

For Ruger's 1st Birthday we got him a "pupcake" at the Dog Bakery in Mt. Dora. He sniffed and then he licked the frosting off just like a kid, after we sang of course. Then he had a great time playing with all his new toys. Guess he is now officially a dog not a puppy, so does that mean he will no longer behave like a puppy ??? Happy Birthday Ruger !
