US Women's National Team

Laine and I had a great time watching the US Women's National Team play Brazil in Orlando at the Citrus Bowl.  We went with her Orange Crush team, did a little tailgating ahead of time and watched a great game.  The US won 4-1.  It was great to see all the Orange Crush girls intently watching the game and hopefully learning some new moves.

The UHS Soccer Season Begins

Fund Raiser

Laine and I helped park cars during the Renaissance Festival.  The Festival uses our Lake County Soccer Club property to accommodate all the cars full of people coming to the festival.  If we volunteer to help park the cars the Club gets money for the use of our parking lot and if needed our fields.  It was a cool, rainy day but Laine was a great helper and we had a lot of fun.

Make A Difference

We had a wonderful weekend at Make A Difference in Waverly Woods.  Make A Difference is a non-profit organizatioon that organizes fishing tournaments for special needs children.  It warms my heart to see that my kids get just as excited about the event and the kids that they helping, as the fparticiating kids do.  It truelly is a great experience that given the choice my kids would not miss for anything and by anything I mean 5 total soccer games, a piano recital, leading worship service at church...
