Merry Christmas

Up bright and early.  Santa brought her a Bean Bag.  She was so excited.
Santa brought G, a Team USA Soccer jersey complete with his name and number on the back.
Garrett was so sweet and wanted to get Laine some new soccer cleats for Christmas.
He searched and searched until he found the perfect pair.  I think she liked them.

Grandma loaded a new purse for Laine with a lot of  1$ bills,  Laine thought she was rich.
Mom was so proud of the gift she found for me.  The story is that when we were kids Grammy bought us a box of assorted chocolates every year for Christmas.  This was before the flavor key was on the inside cover, so we would squeeze each one until we found the one we wanted.  She thought this GIANT box of chocolates was perfect.  Too Funny :)
Thank You Grandma and Papa for a Yummy Extra Special Dinner
Great to have Grammy here this year

A Quick Trip to CO

A quick work trip to Colorado isn't so bad when you get see some of the cutest kids.  It snowed too, can't be a work trip to CO without a little snow for my favorite commute.

Fa La Lollies

This past weekend the kids had a Christmas performance with Baystreet YPT.  One of the Directors wrote a great show, Fa La Lollies.  The story was centered around a grumpy old tree "Ebenezer Spruce" who was visited by 3 trees to help put him in the Christmas spirit.  Walker played "Jimmy the Wood Chipper" and he was a great red neck.  He sang the song "12 Redneck Days of Christmas".  Laine was one of the three trees to visit Spruce.  She was "Stick Tree" from Charlie Brown.  It was a great show and put us all in the Christmas spirit.

Gleaning

The Ford family spent some time Saturday morning gleaning
Citrus from a grove in Umatilla for the local food banks.
We had a great time as a family for a great cause.
