This past weekend was a busy one for the Fords. The boys went hunting in Waverly Swamp and the girls stayed home a enjoyed some Christmas festivities. Garrett shot a 95 pound sow and Walker got a 6 point buck. It has been a very sucessful hunting season for the Ford boys so far, I hope their luck continues.
Laine and I went to the Umatilla Christmas Cracker Parade Saturday morning and Saturday evening Laine performed some of her favorite Christmas songs during her piano teacher's Christmas open house. We enjoyed great music and wonderful food. Laine played Jingle Bells, The Chipmunk Christmas Song and Away in a Manager. On Sunday the boys hurried back home so we could go cut down our Christmas tree. It is a beautiful tree. Now to get it decorated, hopefully soon.
