Fishing in East Lake

Momma has had some good luck catching bass
with a little help from my friends

The Great Fish Story

Coy, Laine and I were out on the lake fishing when it started to rain.  I had a shiner for bait still on my pole when we came in.  Before heading to the house, Coy cast out the shiner just for fun and hid the pole out of the rain.  When the rain slowed to a drizzle, Coy and Laine went out on the dock to fish with some worms.  After a bit Coy noticed the pole he had hid was bent over and the line was running. He grabbed and reeled but soon realized it was stuck.  He thought it was tangled around the anchor to the swim platform and grabbed his goggles to go free the line.  He quickly realized the swim platform was not the problem and we all ran to get the boat so we could get over where it was hung up.  When we did and the line freed this big girl was at the other end.  It was so exciting.
