put on a music concert for family and friends last night.  

They all did a great job !!

Wet-n-Wild for their fantastic grades.
All EMS students with a 4.0, at least 
one 9-week period were invited to go.
The boys felt they should get 4 trips ;)
Great place for a field trip on this 95 degree day.

EMS Field Trip to Epcot

I chaperoned an EMS field trip to Epcot on Friday.  Walker and I had a great time.  Epcot had Magic After Hours so we stayed late.  We had dinner in England, Bangers and Mash (YUM) and watched the fire works with Walker's friend Bailey and his Mom.

Last week, Walker was honored at UF for his ACT score through the Duke University TIP program.  We had a great time but it was a long, hot day.

Destin Mini-Vacation

Coy had a food show in Destin last week, so we decided since it was our 16th Anniversary and Mother's Day we would splurge a bit and head out for a mini-vacation.  The kids and I skipped school and work Friday and drove up to meet Coy.  We stayed at the Hilton Sandestin Resort and really had a wonderful time just hanging together.

Teacher Appreciation Week



Last week was Teacher Appreciation Week at EES.
Laine took her teachers each, a loaf of banana bread and a hand-made Thank You card.

The boys were at Confirmation Retreat this past Friday night so Coy and I decided to spend a special evening with Laine.  She had had McDonalds for lunch so Daddy and I got to choose the restaurant.  We went to Mt. Dora Sushi aand Laine was such a big girl and really liked it.  It was followed by an ice cream cone too ;)

Family Picnic Day at EES

EES sponsors family picnic day, where family is invited to come enjoy lunch with their child during their lunch period.  I had lunch with Laine this time and we enjoyed her favorite, McDonalds.  Laine creates her own picnic day where Daddy and Mommy take turns going in to have lunch with her throughout the year.
