Walker auditioned and was selected to be part of YPT's Senior Tour. The tour group consists of kids in 7th grade or higher. The group meets on Thursday afternoons and they wrote their own educational, service oriented musical. It is called Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and teaches through humor and song the importance of protecting our environment. The kids are touring around to our local elementary schools and performing their original musical for the younger audiences. Walker plays a "nerd" named Jeremy, a "Can" that does not get recycled and is separated from his fellow cans and delivered to the dump and he plays Steve, the rainforest animal expert. He is having tons of fun. They preformed at EHES on Friday and did a performance at the theater for the home school crowd. Next week they will be headed to 2 more elementary schools and a 3rd tour date the following week. The kids are so creative and it is truly a great show.
