After a fun weekend with the family we met our friends from Georgia (they flew into Denver Tuesday morning) and headed out on our Great Western Adventure. Our first stop was the Great Sand Dunes National Monument. We had a great visit and it was a nice break during our long drive to South Fork. It is breath taking and amazing how vast the Dunes are and where they are located. We had fun hiking up the Dunes. Garrett was our "Sherpa" and climbed the dunes like a mountain goat. Coy, Walker and Garrett climbed to the second highest peak while the rest of us waited and played in the sand.
