He got THE PART !!!!

Walker has a couple friends that participate in Children's theater.  We have supported them and seen a few of their shows.  Walker has never seemed to be very interested in theater but enjoyed watching his friends (Laine loves the shows too).  Then he joined Children's Choir at church and this Christmas was cast as Slim, the cowboy angel (complete with accent) in the Christmas production called Angels We Have Heard.  He had quite a few lines and really did a good job.  

Walker's friends put on Annie shortly after Christmas and after seeing that performance, Walker thought maybe he would give theater a try.  The next production is going to be Beauty and the Beast.  

Walker decided to try out for Lefou, Gaston's funny side kick.  It was a smaller part with a few lines and he thought it would be a good start.  He thought his audition went well, he read a few lines and sang a few lines and ......  

He got the part of the BEAST !!!!  

We are so excited for him and he is very proud of himself.  He is double cast, as are all the roles.  There will be 4 performances so he will be the Beast twice and in the chorus twice (yes he has to dance).  The show will be the last weekend in February.  Hope everyone can come see our ferocious Beast.
