Junie B Jones

A week or so ago EES had Literacy week.  The kids got to dress as a character from a book.  Laine went to school as Junie B Jones. (Sorry the picture is a bit fuzzy)  She thought about going as Angelina Ballerina but Daddy was not to keen on the tutu being worn at school with nothing covering the cute little tushy ;) so Junie B it was.  She had a good time.

Sorry for the absence nothing much has been going on in the world of Ford.  The kids did get report cards and both boys got all As.  Laine was so close, hopefully a B and missing the all As ice cream party at school will help her to realize that school is serious and we always have to try our best and not rush.
I can already see a change in her attitude toward her work.  She did not like being left out of the party.

Funny side note.  Notice the book bag in the picture.  Laine got a gift certificate to Toys R Us for Christmas so Mommy took her to pick out something special to get with her gift card.  After an hour in the store and looking at all those toys, we came home with a book bag and money left on the card ;)
Guess we get to go back.  She has never really been a toy kid, she much prefers bags and shoes.  A girl after my own heart, guess I could be in big trouble as she gets older ;)
