As we posted before Walker's baseball team won "Top Team" for District 19. The tournament was a double elimination tournament and the final game was to be in Eustis while Walker was at camp. Thank goodness camp is only 45 minutes away, we drove to get Walker from camp so he could be there for the big win. Well not so fast, our "REAL" team decided not show up that night and after a rain delay the Braves LOST. SO we had another game, this time in Deland, about 30 minutes from Eustis but over an hour from camp. We decided he would have to miss the game and hopefully the right team would show up and they did. Coy went to watch and after the win he had to come home, he had a hard time watching all the Dads getting pictures with their players and the championship banner and Walker was not there. But a few weeks later we had a fun celebration. The boys all got embroidered caps and tee-shirts. There is a new sign hanging on the outfield wall for all to see. Way to go BRAVES !!!
