Thursday, Walker participated in a 5th grade promotion ceremony, celebrating their graduation from elementary school and their promotion to middle school. It was a very nice ceremony. They called each child up on stage and asked what their interests were and what their future would hold. Walker said he liked football and baseball and acting in the theater. He wanted to go to the University of Florida Business School and own his own business someday. He received many awards for his academics and was honored as the only student to receive all A's all the way through elementary school, never a B. He was also honored with a special Presidential Acknowledgement. After the ceremony we took Walker out to lunch. We decided to try sushi. Well, we owe Walker another lunch out because "it was not his favorite" though Mommy thought for sure he would love it. Oh well he was a good sport.
